The fourth hole at Pebble Beach will look a little different to viewers of next week’s PURE Insurance Championship broadcast. Earlier this summer, its tee complex was shifted left to realign the angle of play more towards the cliff and reveal previously hidden views of Stillwater Cove. In addition, the fairway bunkering was restored to its original design of one singular bunker set at an angle and framing a significantly narrower fairway. Together, these changes present a more strategic and captivating tee shot as players begin the first of seven straight holes along the famous coastline.
