2 Golf Swing Release Positions for More Distance

Want more clubhead speed and distance without just trying to swing harder? Pay attention to these two positions in your golf swing. ⛳️ Position 1: Maintain the lag in your downswing. When the club reaches roughly parallel to the ground, you don’t want the clubhead to have already thrown past your hands. If you release that angle too early, you’re essentially spending your speed before you get to the golf ball. Instead, work on moving pressure toward the target while maintaining that wrist angle and lag deeper into the downswing. Position 2: Let the club release through impact. Creating lag doesn’t mean holding the club back forever. Once you reach the strike, the club needs to release and continue moving through the ball. That’s the sequence: Create the lag → maintain it longer → release it through impact. The goal isn’t to freeze your golf swing into a position. It’s to train the sequence so the club can build and release speed at the right time. And if you struggle to actually feel that lag position, that’s exactly what the SLR3 Bumblebee is designed to help you practice. 🐝 Want to train the lag and release pattern from this video?? The SLR3 Bumblebee gives you a physical reference for creating that downswing position so you can stop guessing what proper lag should feel like. 👉 Train it here: https://improve.shotcraftgolf.com/products/slr3/lp1?utm_content=youtube-short-2positionrelese&utm_medium=social And save this golf swing tip for your next range session and check both positions in your own swing! #GolfSwing #GolfTips #GolfInstruction #GolfSwingTips #GolfLag #GolfRelease #GolfDownswing #ClubheadSpeed #GolfDistance #GolfTraining #GolfDrills #GolfPractice
